Seminar on Leopard, OS 10.5
The newest Apple Operating System, Leopard, is scheduled to released TODAY! Our suggestion is to not jump the gun and rush to install this OS; we'll let the others initial installers be our "beta testing team" so we can see what kind of results they have. We will expect to begin recommending this upgrade in the January time frame, to allow applications, printer drivers, customer plug-ins and system preference panes time to be upgraded for full compatibility. If you do want to install Leopard yourself, it's a safe bet to first backup your data, then repair the disk (we recommend DiskWarrior), and then do an Archive and Install, while preserving Users and Groups.
If you are unsure of whether your system is Leopard compatible and your applications are up to date, watch this space soon for our new short seminars on Leopard and other general Mac topics! The seminars will be held at our Alexandria, VA office at 5440 Cherokee Avenue in the late afternoon or early evening hours.
These Seminars will run for approximately one hour, and be limited to 6 people to ensure you get plenty of attention and time to address your questions. The cost will be $49 per attendee. Along with the Seminar, you will take away a printed copy of the training material. Seating will be limited, so be sure to sign up as soon as the date is announced.

Why Get a Mac?Reason # 1. It just works.
How much time have you spent troubleshooting your PC? Imagine a computer designed by people who hate to waste time as much as you do. Where all the hardware and software just works, and works well together. Get a Mac and get your life back. |
|
Why Get a Mac?Reason # 3. Everything-ready.
The Mac is the only computer in the world that can run all the major operating systems, including Mac OS X, Windows XP, and Vista. With software like Parallels Desktop or VMware you can even run them side-by-side. |
