 MACS strongly encourages backing up all important files. Depending on the solution that works best for your environment, you can choose to back up to the destination of your choice, or choose to back up to one of our secure servers. Offsite backup is the only way to guard against theft, fire, flood or other local disasters. Our backup solutions can provide the following:
- Automatically notes changes that need backup and then does so once per day, or back up immediately as you work, protecting your files without slowing you down.
- Files are greatly compressed using advanced compression technology. Duplicate files and parts of files are automatically identified and stored only once.
- Control when to back up.
- Automatically back up the latest version, or choose our solution where you can move backward in time, restoring alternate versions of files that have been changed many times.
- Back up to multiple destinations: on-site, off-site, and across the country, it's your choice!
- Specify exactly which folders and filenames you want backed up.
- Easy recovery of accidentally deleted or saved over files.
